Dropping my pain level from a 9/10 to a 3/10

My surgeon, during my gallbladder removal, ended up placing a faulty JP Drain in me.  It wasn’t until several days later that my Nurse Practitioner noticed that the plastic tubing had a hole in it and after a couple days, the discharge became infected. Between the actual removal of my gallbladder and the residual infection from the failed apparatus,my pain level was a 9/10. On that day, I decided to meditate.  Not only did that bring down my swelling substantially, it also helped to lower my pain level down to a 3/10..

Finding spiritual balance can promote emotional healing. Trauma can often cause feelings of anxiety, depression, and stress. Engaging in activities that promote balance and relaxation can help you manage these feelings and promote a sense of calm and peace.
